PParkntel

The notice arrives, whatever the weather

Parkntel for Organisations lets councils, police and enforcement bodies reach a driver before, during and after enforcement, at the plate, without ever being given a name or a number.

What you are working with today

Paper is the weakest link you have

A notice under a wiper blade can be blown off by the wind or washed off by rain, and then it was never served. The driver says they never saw it. Often they are telling the truth.

You have a plate, not a person

Looking a driver up to reach them is slow, expensive and, for most of what you need to say, out of proportion. So the notice goes on the glass and you hope.

By the time it escalates, it is expensive

Most vehicles move once somebody actually reads the notice. The removals, the appeals and the arguments are what happens when nobody did.

How it works

1

Send it to the plate

Your officer reads the plate at the kerb, picks the notice, adds a line about what is actually wrong with this car, and sends. It arrives on the driver's phone in seconds.

2

Know it arrived

Delivered and read, with times. Proof of service that does not depend on anybody's memory, and the single thing paper has never been able to give you.

3

They can reply

The driver answers you in the app. Neither side sees the other's phone number, ever, so your officers are not handing out their mobiles and your drivers are not handing out theirs.

4

Nobody registered? Print it

If the plate is not on Parkntel you get a printed notice with a code on it, held against that plate for thirty days. When the driver joins, the notice is waiting for them.

You never see who the driver is

Your officers address a plate. We route it to whoever has registered that plate and tell you one thing: whether it arrived. No name, no address, no phone number, no email, unless that driver personally decides otherwise, one organisation at a time.

That is not a limitation we are apologising for. It is why drivers install this, and a channel drivers install is worth more to you than one they resent.

Why a notice from you gets believed

A message with an official name and a payment link is textbook phishing. If the badge were easy to get we would have built the attack rather than the defence, so it is not easy to get.

  • We check that you control the domain your staff email addresses are on
  • We check you against a public register: the ONS list of authorities, Companies House, the Charity Commission
  • Somebody rings the number published on your own website and speaks to your named contact
  • Bodies with enforcement powers are asked for a letter of authority a person actually reads
  • We read every notice you write before your officers can send it

Verification lasts a year and then comes round again, because a council reorganises and a contractor loses a contract.

Sending from your own systems

Officers can work from a phone at the kerb, and your existing case management system can send through our API instead. Payment stays on your own platform: we carry the message and the proof it arrived, not your money.

Apply to message drivers

Applying takes a few minutes and creates nothing that can message anybody. It puts you in a queue to be checked by a person, and we will tell you either way.
